Dress the Part for Facilitators, Presenters and Professional Speakers

Speakers tips and ideas to refine, enhance and brand their professional image

The best time to learn how to use chopsticks is before your food arrive. The best time to learn to dress well is before you need to be well dressed. The best time to learn from a style expert is on April 29 at the Chicago Metroplolitan Club.

As a co-chair along with William Mackay of the Speacl Event at NSA-IL, National Speakers Association Illinois Chapter, I would like to extend the invitation to everyone who needs to be in front of a group to speak, to show and to tell.

Purpose:    To provide speakers tips and ideas to refine, enhance and brand their professional image.

The program runs three hours and will include time for a short introduction, two breaks of 10 minutes each and a wrap-up.

Audience members will be encouraged to ask question.  However, the guest speaker will have the prerogative of entertaining questions throughout the body of the program or holding them until the end.

The guest speaker is encouraged to provide a hands-on demonstration using volunteer audience members.  For example, you may ask what type of image the audience volunteer is going after [e.g., mature look that conveys experience],  offer a critique of the volunteers style, describing what is or /is not working and what changes the audience volunteer could make to achieve the desired look.
