TED.com is a global event. TEDx is a global phenomenon. Now the students of Illinois Institute of Technology will host the very first TEDxIIT on March 26, 2011, at Chicago Downtown campus, see TEDxIIT.com It is free and open to all IIT community: Students, Alumni, Faculty Members, Staffs, spouses and family members. However, space is limited. Following the TED guidelines, all attendees must submit an application on line as soon as possible. That's because it is important to have people who really really want to be there and will be there, rain or snow.
Like typical TEDx events, you will listen and interact with the speakers and follow attendees. The best part is to experience the TED like conversation.
