It's Google's 12th birthday. What an extraordinary gift to the rest of us.

On my birthdays, I thank my parents for the gift of life, mind and spirit. There was never any shower of gifts or birthday presents. It was always about the presence. For many years, it was only the presence of the voice.

"Share Share" means Thank You in Mandarin Chinese, the official spoken language in China. Mandarin is spoken by most people from the Northern part of China, such as Beijing & Shanghai.
