Swim Across America for Johns Hopkins

My friend David is participating in another year of Swim Across America.

This is a very special group of recreational, Masters and Olympic swimmers who will be swimming to support cancer research, prevention and treatment at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.

If this app lives up to it's promises, this will be the best thing ever since the first PDA. This just might be the GTDer's best friend. If the company keeps up, they will be hailed as the ultimate savior for our digital chaos.

"What is the fuzz and buzz?" you ask.

Connecting your digital life: iCal, contacts, appointments and notes, etc. etc. etc. I have been search long and hard for something like this ever since OSX was born. FileMakerPro is a monster in itself, let along making use of it to maneuver the digital maze.

Once upon a time, there was a Change Lab who wrote an exceptional program named, CAT, Contact Activity Time, for the mac. It connects all the essential information and allowed the user to pull up the data at any one of those options. It was ahead of its time.

Unfortunately, they gave up when they faced the wall of OSX. I missed that application so much. I sincerly hope this LifeTopix will revive the spirit of connecting our digital data dots.

The real test is in the crowd. With the reduced price for the Labor Day weekend, it's really worth a try.

If there are enough people buy and try, this will survive. Then, there is hope to end our digital chaos.
